Complicated Me

Complicated Me studies Judaism’s spiritual insights into the anatomy of the human soul and psyche. Every lesson examines scientific studies in various areas of psychology and illuminates them within the framework of the Torah’s mystical teachings. Teens will discover how to connect these lessons to their interpersonal relationships and to the way we relate to G-d: How well do you know yourself? Do you know why you think the way you think? Is your personality a product of your upbringing or are you an independent, self-made person? Why do you feel pious one day and heretical the next? These and other questions will be explored as teens discuss and debate what makes us happy, successful, better at relationships, able to cope with stress, and more. These lessons will provide students with a soul-map to deal with the inner challenges that we encounter on a daily basis.
